OUR CLINIC


At Element Sports & Injury, our integrated medical team offers compassionate, collaborative care for a wide range of injuries and pain conditions, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, joint pain, and sports injuries. The team offers regenerative medicine services, medically-supervised weight loss, chiropractic care, decompression therapy, and sports rehab for patients of all ages.

ERIC MUNOZ, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Eric L. Muñoz is originally from El Paso, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor’s in Business Management, and a Bachelor’s in Biology with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences. While at UTEP Dr. Muñoz played all four years on the Men’s Basketball Team, won a Conference USA Championship and played in the NCAA Big Dance. His passion for health, fitness, and vitality along with experiences shadowing at multiple sports chiropractic clinics led him to pursue a career in Chiropractic. He completed his Doctorate at Parker University College of Chiropractic in August of 2019. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy as well as a Bachelor of Health and Wellness while at Parker University. Dr. Muñoz concentrated his studies in Functional Movement, soft tissue manipulation, trigger point dry needling and became certified in Active Release Technique (ART). Dr. Muñoz’s extensive knowledge combined with his experience as a collegiate athlete provides his patients with the most comprehensive and integrative approach to evaluating, treating and rehabilitating from injuries. Dr. Muñoz has had the privilege to treat active individuals as well as professional athletes including athletes from the NFL, NBA, and WNBA to name a few. His mission is to provide the best quality, personalized treatment that gets great results.

Tannis Owens, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Tannis is a licensed massage therapist who has practiced in the Dallas area for 5 years. As a graduate from Parker University, she has experience in multiple modalities to assist in your recovery. Tannis specializes in Therapeutic Massage combining deep tissue and sports techniques to provide a well-rounded experience. Tannis has a passion for health and wellness and is energized to bring our Element family a service worth remembering!


Cara Geen
Office Manager

Cara has been an athlete her entire life. When she moved to Texas in 2016, she started her journey in the Fitness Industry. She later realized she not only had a passion for coaching fitness and managing fitness facilities, but for Sports Medicine. She has worked in the industry for the last six years and loved every second of learning about the human body, pain free movement/lifestyle, nutrition, regenerative medicine, and interacting with patients! When she isn’t being Dr. Munoz side kick, she enjoys coaching CrossFit, competing locally, and spending time with her husband and three children. Cara truly believes by helping others, we help ourselves. She is confident that movement is medicine!
